The gastric system is supposed to work to push the feces to the anus, but it is possible for the gastric system to contract in the opposite direction, pushing the feces to the small intestine?
Sorry if my question is a little stupid, I’m having a hard time going to the bathroom and I can feel how my poop is moving towards the upper part of my body (large intestine, stomach, etc). Is there a way to dissolve my poop?
Perhaps it’s time for a physical exam.
If your stools are going to your large intestine, that means they are going through your colon to your anus to be expelled. Your large intestine is your bowel (colon). Your small intestine is your stomach. It sounds like your stools are backing up in your bowel and you are constipated. Try lots of fruit and a laxative.
its not going backwards, you are just constipated. make sure you were drinking plenty of water, getting some exercise even just walking, eating more fiber like veges, bran. , these things help to get things moving. If you still cant go, talk to your doctor about what would be right for you to take for constipation.
