My first period after myomectomy

Hi Ladies

I had a myomectomy 4 weeks ago so yesterday I got my first period which was too heavy, I was depressed until I saw that I'm not the only one.

This group/ forum it's very helpful.

Now I have a hope that things will get better maybe on my 3rd period.

I'm going on 7 weeks post op and had 2 periods so far. They were both awful!! Cramps and very heavy bleeding. My Doctor said it should get better with time. I sure hope so, keep you posted.
