My girlfriend and I had sex and a few days later she complained of pains down below, went to her dr. and was diagnosed with herpes. I tested positive as well. She was on medication; her symptoms went away. A couple days later we had sex again and now those same pains are back again. I have never had a symptom or any kind of outbreak. My question is, is it possible to have 2 outbreaks within 2 weeks after having sex? Or could it be something else?
what were your symptoms and herpes is a one time outbreak and then it will heal and possibly come back later as a recurrence
It’s possible that you gave it to her. She as a woman is even more susceptible to catching an STD. I recommend that you guys both do a complete panel of testing to be sure but yes it’s possible for it to reoccur especially if she wasn’t fully healed. Best of luck to the both of you.
