I've been suffering with anxiety for a few years now but recently this past month has been bad. I've been having bad heart palpitations and I'm scared to work out or even move around too fast bc my heart starts to pump harder but not too fast. I've been drinking lots of water been eating healthier and I've lost 40 pounds in 4 months. I don't drink even though I use to but it's been 2 months since I have. I don't drink caffeine or nor do I smoke. My body I always tensed up and feels like if I have poor circulation even tho I've been to the er last week and my blood work came back fine and my heart is healthy and my ekg or ecg not too sure which one it was (I had plugs all over me) but it came back fine. I feel so alone and I just hope there's someone who might understand what I'm going through. I'm 30 years old and weigh 270 pounds and I'm 5'10.
Hi there, heart palpitations, pumping harder and faster are typical anxiety symptoms, it's the body's way of sending oxygenated blood to the muscles as fast as possible as part of the fight, flight, freeze response. You've had tests which confirm everything is fine so it's just anxiety which manifests when you stand up and walk around. It will go away as time passes in the mean time ignore it and remind yourself that everything checks out ok and it's just anxiety.

I really appreciate it Aspinan. Just sucks she it happens. I don't like to eat sometimes bc of it even tho I'm starving and I get lightheaded/heavyheaded all the time. But you're right I try telling myself that it's nothing and to just relax but it's easier said than done sometimes. I loved working out too but lately I haven't due to my heart palpitations.
