It's been I think three days now. And each it's been getting worse. First the inner wall of my cheek on my left side was sore. Like it hurt to move the muscles around it. Then the pain grew towards the muscles near where my jaw meets my skull. Now it's made it to the gums around my molars and throat. All still being on my left side. It hurts to swallow to chew. Even doing nothing still gives almost a burning sensation and the inside of my teeth and gums feel like they are rotting away. I keep making too much saliva and so far I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary nary when I look into the mirror. I can't sleep, and I'm fearing the worst. I'll admit that I don't do the best at dental hygiene, and I think that could be a reason but I just want to know what this is. I'm literally lying on my bed trying to ignore the pain by concentrating on writing this hopefully to make me fall alseep but I don't know how many nights I can keep doing this. Please someone help me.
My friend, you must see a dentist or a doctor as soon as possible. Sometimes this type of thing can be related to the jaw joint, which can cause related pain in the mouth.
Please tell the doctor or dentist everything about it. In the time being, please take some pain killers - hopefully this will help you while you wait for an appointment.
If you can apply a cold flannel to your jaw to cool any inflammation, this will help you.
I wish you all the best, and a speey recovery.
Kind Regards.
Chimp.
I agree you need to see a dr or dentist.
