My nausea worst now then when i was pregnant. Nausea, vomiting Help

Last night and into today i have been experiencing terrible dizziness and nausea. I vomited 3 times today . Also the smell of gasoline and fresh cut grass sets me off. Never in my pregnancy did i feel this way. Having to hold onto things and being careful when i turn around. I pray it leaves me tomorrow. I am in bed trying to sleep but when i close my eyes i feel dizzy. I am drinking so much water thinking maybe i was dehydrated but it is not so. Have anyone experienced this, what can i take. I am so struggling. Everyday a new symptom. Please help

I share your sentiments even though I have never given birth. The vertigo, nausea, hot flashes, and other symptoms are ■■■■ to say the least. I have tried to explain to my physicians that perimenopause is compounding my other conditions and making me more miserable to no avail. My problem is that I can’t have any hormones. I am in the process of changing doctors to rectify this because there has to be something that can help alleviate this issue. I hope that you find some relief.

Hello hopeforever

I’m sorry to hear you are feeling so awful, sounds like bed is the right place for you. May be worth speaking to your doctor though, I know most of the time we assume that absolutely everything is meno related, but it could just as easily be vertigo or a virus and you’d benefit from some treatment. One thing to bear in mind, you need to drink enough to stay hydrated but not so much that you dilute essential salts and electrolytes as that can make you feel terrible. Hope you feel better soon xx

yes I definitely get the nausea and dizziness they start up the week I’m having a migraine , it lasts all week long until the migraine attack hits, then its pain pain pain in the head.. The dizziness (vertigo) is there all month long just worse during migraine week.. Also get blurry vision more than normal, and weird wavy patterns like patterns are melting and moving.. Keep in mind these migraine attacks can be silent ( no pain) just the dizziness nausea off balance lots of head pressure nausea vertigo and vomiting, all migraine without the pain, and very common during perimenopause.. For me these are my worst symptoms these migraine attacks, never had these before the age of 45 is when they began, and they cycle every single month same week just awful!!
