about 5 months ago, i clamped my PIP joint in my middle finger on a close horse (where you hang clothes) at the time it was pulsating but i put ice on it but it got rid of the pain but didnt seem to get rid of the swelling, it doesnt hurt anymore, any suggestions on what it is?
maybe the joint is still swolen inside or the tendon that makes the finger bend and unbend is damaged or it has set off athritis . Is it stiff does it bend and unbend OK. have you tried resting it, and of course have you asked doc for an xray or mri to see whats going on
I will be sure to tell a doctor, it just that its been so long and i would have thought it would heal by its own, thank you for replying
it does bend but when i pull it to my plam it hurts a bit not bad, and i rest it alot
