Hi all. My son has a red, irritated rash on his butt a few days ago. I took him to doctor yesterday and he said that my son has ringworm and told me to put antifungal cream on it. Anyone else experience this?
I’ve had ringworm and an antifungal cream cleared it up. It should be in a characteristic ring shape. I’m sure you know its nothing to do with worms. Wash his pants/pyjama bottoms in very hot water,also sheets.
It can be highly contagious so make sure he washes his hands well, to try and stop the fungal spores spreading.
If it hasnt cleared by the time the cream has finished,go back to your doctor.
My boy had ringworm a few months ago! We used Fugacil and it cleared up the next day.
