i had a baby 19 days ago, i had a forceps delivery and an epiosotomy. i only just had the guts to look down below at my vaginal opening and it looks absolutely awful. its quite red and it looks lumpy, i cant even see where the hole is meant to be!
only way to describe it is that it looks like something from stranger things, like a demogorgons mouth. ive attached a picture. i apologise, it grosses me out too.
is this normal almost 3 weeks after having a baby or does it look like ive got an infection or some kind of problem?
It looks normal, don’t worry about it.
its normal its going to take some tome to go back to normal
