Hello ladies and gents.. I’m concerned of my big toe nail. I have a spot on it and I haven’t injured it or anything recently and I want your opinion on what it is? It’s brown-yellowish with what looks like red capillaries
It could be a toenail fungus. On the other hand it could be a skin condition. Hopefully it's not anything as serious as cancer, but you never know. Good luck!
It sounds like a tiny burst blood vessel under the nail and is called a splinter haemorrhage. If you dont get any more of these then this is probably a "one off" but if you notice them occurring frequently then you should see your doctor for advice...it could be a sign of an underlying condition, Check your toenails at least once a week.
Hi nury ive got similar I put pic of it on my profile pic just get it checked out mines only come up recently its sore to touch and has an itch sometimes but no blood just brown with white border, let me know how it goes good luck.
If its itchy and sore to touch it may be something entirely different. Athletes foot or possibly lichen planus.
