A few days ago I put Nair on my private part, it was a bit runny so I try to clean it up… I noticed it start burning and washed it off right away. The next day I was in some pain and it was a bit uncomfortable, so I’ve been putting on healing ointment on the burn spots. A few days pass and the pain has gotten worse.
I went to my doctor for a health check up, and told her the issues that I have been having… She took a look and asked me some questions, and basically said it look like it was healing already & herpes doesn’t heal that fast. She also said to just keep applying the ointment, and if they cuts/lesions reappear after fully healing then to come back & get tested for herpes.
Side note - I haven’t been sexually active in over a year, so that’s another reason why I don’t think it’s herpes… and just chemically burned but Google is a scary place and I’m just kind of freaked out now. Like what if it was just dormant and then came out for some reason? Do i get a second opinion?
