I know Naltrexone is generally better tolerated with less side effects than Nalmefene but I just wonder if for some people one or the other has better results with TSM.I took Nalmefene initially for about 9 months and because of side effects changed to Naltrexone and have been taking it now about 3 months. Although TSM has still continued to go well since taking Naltrexone I have noticed that the desire to have a drink is a bit more frequent .I still have no urge to keep drinking once I start and only have one or two .On Nalmefene I had reached a very much take it or leave it stage and only had a drink about every 3 weeks. Since taking Naltrexone I tend to want to have a drink about once a week.Just wonder if this is just possibly a levelling out thing or if anyone else has experienced this .I am not really worried about it but don't want to take any backward steps either ! 🤔🤔
