Just wondering if anyone else is feeling like this. I feel really sorry for my g.p at present. Symptoms are a lot of mucus and painful tongue. Tongue has been really sore for years. Then when i was pregnant with last child (who is now 9) had bad ankle and joint pain. This has not left me but my g.p would give me an injection for query arthritis due to psoriasis I had. Injection helped pain in ankles but tongue and mucus continued. Now my appetiite is greatly reduced and I have extreme thirst. Tongue is very white and every test blood and swabs are coming back clear. I think I;m offically ready for the mad house. Ankles are swollen with fluid (visable sign). I have taken milk out of my diet and my psoriasis have cleared. Mucus still bad if not worse. Attending doc nearly twice a week and he feels this is anxiety with me. Yes I have the most stressful few years.
Anxiety can dry your mouth, make you thirsty which in turn affects mucas production which will affect the build up on your tongue. Easy to get dehydrated with anxiety so make sure your drinking plenty, not too much though as that can actually make it worse, stick to water with ocassional fruit juice
thank you for your advice jmcg2014. Yes im drinking loads of water to the point that its sicking me. Im now on pepsi max as well as black tea. I feel i have fluid everywhere. And my ankles and legs are swollen.
Too much fluid can actually be worse, you'll pee it out before it does you any good and can cause dehydration, try sipping regularly on water rather than drinking a full glass
