Hi I've been on citalopram for nearly 6 weeks now and at the beginning of this week I upped my dose from 20 to 30mg. Started getting side effects again with the increase but not as bad as when I first started.
My anxiety is still really high and I still can't eat very much. When you increase dose how long does it take to settle?
Around 2 weeks
6 week stil early
I come back to normal after 12 weeks
but feeling batter around 8 weeks
I didn't feel much benefit from 20mg but I was starting to feel OK late afternoon and evenings. The increase has brought back some side effects and I just feel rough. Had a good afternoon yesterday but today I've felt terrible all day
It took me around 4 weeks to get rid of most of the side effect after increasing to 40mg. I've been on it for six weeks now and my mood is still the same and I still wake up with anxiety.
If I force myself to eat regular through the days the side effects were not as bad
