Neck and shoulder pain , loss of sensation

I have been suffering for around 4 years now

I am a 34 year old male , normal wieght and generally healthy

It started when I was driving one day , a very sharp stabbing pain to my neck on the right side

pain was so intense I had to pull over

the post that day I have had slight muscle loss to my right shoulder and arm , excess sweating and odour

from the right side , and when I was working out the right side arm neck and shoulder would be much warmer than the left side

xray to my shoulder found nothing , and the right side is always now more fatigued , and someting throbbs and get twinges of pain

If I fall asleep with my head leaning to the left I get woken up with an intense burning pain

but if my head is turned to the right it is fine

my whole right side feels different to the left side

all advise welcome

Thank you

I've found xrays don't show much you might need a ct or mri. I found through a ct scan that I had a little piece of bone that is a bit to long was hitting on the nerve in my neck, getting better after a lot of physio

Thanks for the reply

I fear the shoulder x ray I had missed what is happening in my neck

And when I suggest Mri or ct scan to the doctor I am met with resistance

Why is that? Does it cost them?

Yes it does cost nhs and that's why they put you off.I know from experience BUT if you are getting pins and needles numbness extreme nerve pain they WILL get you an MRI. As you can get paralyzed. Ive had 1 neck op and 1 back op.I'm 44.Fight for your right to see a specialist if bad pain.Hope you get help ! 👊😻

If you're In the UK I don't know In australia theres a small co payment.

The physio actually diagnosed me without the CT I just wanted it to make sure
