i been having eye pain face throat neck and ear pain body pain i been under alot antibiotics for sinus nothing working now i m taking prednisone i took the firt one today 20 mg one a day i was better for a hour the pain is back 
what does this mean do i have to finish the 5 days course for the pain to go away ? i really hope this work i took antibiotics anti acid before nothing work my glands are swallo i got a ultrasound doctor said nothing to worry about just take more antibiotics ;( but they no working he think my sinus is affecting my throat ;( and thats why all this symtons ;( how long does it take for prednisone to work for pain inflamation ?
you must finish all of the prednisone. your directions should tell you how to slowly reduce the dosage . a sinus infection causes throat pain because of the drainage into your throat.
oh ok i understand what should i do if the doctor only gave me 10 of 20mg he never told me nothing about reducing it or anything like that
aren’t the instructions on the pharmacy label? you should call the pharmacy for instructions if it isn’t on the label. he must have given you a 10 day supply. that is pretty high dose without reducing the dosage slowly.
no they not in the label he gave me 10 for 5 days to take it 2 a day but i m not i think is too high i only took one yesterday no sure if i will take this again
Just take two a day for five days and then stop. You do not need any special reduction in that short time. You can check with the pharmacist if you wish.

you should finish your dosage that’s a short time to take the steroids it won’t hurt you. you won’t need to reduce the dosage because it’s only for 5 days. But if you don’t take it you’re not going to get over your sinus infection
yes i will take it is only 5 days i just go scared how people were saying need to be reduce lol
Listen to Irene. People who have been taking steroids for over around 3 weeks or so do need to taper down and I think that is what some if the people were thinking. Good luck, I hope they work, they are considered a wonder drug.
