I need a short but catchy title for my website, and have only come up with :-
A guide to THR
or
THR Survival guide
I discounted "an idiots guide to THR" as it's probably copyright.
any better ideas out there?

I quite like the THR survival guide
"THR for Dummies"
Sarah,
The reason I am asking, is that the moderator has asked if he can put a link to my website in the 'useful resources' thread .... I feel so honoured.
To me it is unbelievable that a few months ago I knew absolutely nothing about THR, and now I am being quoted as an authority, but really I am just bringing information together in an easy to read format.
Originally someone said I should write a book, but when I looked, there are several books already out there, and I never thought to go and look or buy one. My idea was to have a website that, unlike a book, could be continually updated, and free for everyone to access.
It's the people on this forum who are my heroes that freely share their experiences, worries and solutions on this forum, and I don't want to make money publishing a book on the back of their generosity.

THR......."You'll Never Walk Alone"
Xx
Wow thats amazing. What i love about your website is that its easy to read, no medical words that people may not understand and it has pictures. Plus the lay out is amazing haha.
Its amazing that the moderater wants to use your website on here. Congratulations you must be so proud
I think the 'for Dummies' is probably copyright too.
THR......."You'll Never Walk Alone" is certainly true on this forum.
I am tending to go with the Survival guide - it's how we survive the whole experience from pre-op to many months of recovery post-op.

Yeh I think your probs right abot the for dummies thing.. had a quick look at your site, have you thought about using wordpress to set it up to make it look a bit more proffesional ? Also it wil make commenting easier for viewers..
Thanks Sarah, so encouraging to hear you say that ... or read it anyway.
Proud is an understatement, because to me this website, and particularly this forum, has been a lifesaver. I think I would have gone potty with worry thinking about all those little things that were happening to me, thinking that it was just me.
Thanks to everyone on here, I learned that I am not alone, and almost every problem I have had has been experienced by others too.

What about: "THR The Total Experience"
"THR The Patients' Guide"
"THR from A to Z"
"THR The True Story"
Something to play around with, maybe?
All the best,
Susie
What about an apolocolypse guide to THR or something like that as many of us think its the end of the world to have to get a thr.
And if you did make a book but didnt want to make money maybe you could donate it to various orthapedic departments at hospitals?
Hi Graham
My suggestion is "THR, it's a piece of cake." from Derek, but Hazel likes THR survival guide.
Where would I find your website now? I'm looking at a THR next month... Thanks.
Only because I don't like using initials - i would put 'hip replacement' somewhere in the title - (for me it's a pity it wasn't in the web address as I would rarely search using initials) Great that you are doing it though!
Where on this site is "useful links"?
Graham that's brilliant, yea there are books and there is the truth, still think you should go for it.
how about "the things they don't tell yoy about hip replacement " no that sounds better as a book. How about a guid to living with a new hip.
great idea.
suexx
That's brilliant!
What about: "Hip Replacement, the Patient's Perspective"
"Hip Replacement, the Facts"
"Hip Replacement, a Patient's Guide"
"Hip Replacement, what you need to know..."
"Hip Replacement, Before and After"
I like this title Gaby!
A Hippies Manual - your guide to Total Hip Replacement
Total Hip Replacement - a practical guide for Hippies to be
Hi Graham
Fantastic that your web site will have a link on the forum. It will be so useful to have a lot of practical information in one place. If there are any names that you like why dont you try some of them out by putting them in to the address bar to see what comes up?
Also loved the photos that are already there so perhaps you could add some more? Even have a few links to things like exercises or hospital manuals just as a help. I saved a few in my ebooks for additional reading.
All your hard work will be helping so many Hippies to be.
Best wishes
Linnet x
