Well to start you probably need another antibiotic. Having you been tested for something else and where are you?

Hello. Have you been to the ENT hospital department? i am myself waiting to be seen. You can have xray/ct scan and be checked. Then they can get to root of exactly whats happening.

I'm UK and no they haven't tested for anything just gave me a nasal spray and antibiotics and said I most probably have sinus infection again today I have had to take paracetamol ect for headache and I don't know whether to take my amoxicillon or not as it's doing nothing

No nobody seems concerned or anything enough to do that just passed Me antibiotics and say it should help

I had 3 weeks of the doxilin antibiotics didnt wrk then I have just finished yesterday amoxilin. Last night i had pressure in head eyes nose when lay down, had these symptoms 9 weeks ago so they haven't wrked at all.

ask the doctors to send you to ent at hopsital as you need to be checked he cant say no if you ask. Im waiting its a few weeks wait. Good reviews ive read. Ive only had this 9 weeks but its a bloody nightmare!

Well you should ask to be referred to an Ent, you must tell the  GP you have had more than 4 boys a year. If the GP doesn't take action change of GP, this is your option within the NHS

Yes definitely I agree. I dont know how you have coped so long steph. Its such a horrible illness. Are I ask has anyone else have very sore eyes? my eyes have bn so sore and dry since I got this annoying at night too. I know its all related eyes ears throat

Bouts I meant

I have had all the same symptoms going on 12 weeks. The eye pressure and foggy head is the worst. I increased my water intake to 2 L a day and that helps with the pain. I've done 5 antibiotics, nasal sprays, OTC medication and still no relieve. ENT finally said I have a deviated septum and middle ear infection. This illness has taken over my life. I'm scheduled for surgery in June. The only medicine I have found to take the headaches away is Migralex. It has Magnesium in it and was invented by a Neurologist. It's helped me keep my sanity. Lol. Hope you guys find relieve soon.

Thanks all I'm going to ask tommorow I have started having kinda flutters in left temple now don't know if it's related ...yes my eyes have been weird laterly to be honest but more watery and floaters in vision .

does anybody know /HAD flutters in head with this ?

Yes ask tomorrow you need a scan. Yes I have strange pressure in temple on my had side comes and goes. Sinus runs all around there so definitely related I think. Thats odd ur eyes more watery yet mine dry its so annoying I think all related.

Mindy I totally agree takes over life this illness stops you going out the tiredness horrible. Im glad u getting treatment. Good luck with that. I just want my dry eyes to go also its so irritating now this illness.

I collapsed on my bathroom floor one day eyes darting everywhere could not focus or stand up, managed to crawl to phone and phone ambulance taken to A&E said it was menopause and to go to GP went to GP had fluid in ear and could possibly be Ménière's disease given beta histamine and went home, symptoms still not gone had balance test said it was BPPV beningn proximal positional vertigo, referee to ENT who said (wait for it) MENOPAUSE  everything I have gone in with I am told it's the menopause, I am sick of it now on anti depressants,  I have pressure behind my eyes and nose want to pop ears all the time but they won't hearing quite bad even though hearing test came back ok, and the buzzing it's awful, and the dizzy spells.

I would go back to doctors the doctors, they have said at one point i have rhinitis this can also cause vertigo pressure in head nose behind eyes.??!!! (Steroid they give you for inflammation in nasal area). I would also request doctor to send you to ENT department to have scans see whats going on.

Oh no how awful we all get told different things I couldn't get a appointment today so got to wait for next week today I felt as though my head was hanging upside down kinda rumbles in my ears tonight the twitching in my head has started again ! I actually Googled and it said menopause im 23 I can't have that yet 😂 ! But im so Dizzy and feel sick all the time as well getting g really fed up can't believe they is more people going through this/similar I hope we all get sorted soon sick of been in pain all the time or Dizzy ect driving me crazy xx

No menopause yet for me :-) definitely think scan will give you answers. Still waiting for my scan date! Apparently sleeping with window open is good for sinusitis/sinus issues. Helps with my dizzy head ect. Ive bn keeping window in lounge ajar too to keep air flow think helping.

I highly doubt it's Menopause at 23. Have them draw a TSH and Estrogen level and that will let you know if it's Thyroid or menopause. All mine started with a nasty sinus virus. My PCP kept telling me it was anxiety. I've had manageable anxiety all my life, I know the difference. Lol. The only thing I'm anxious about is not feeling like I'm on this planet from all the head pressure/fogginess. I have a headache 24/7. I recently started taking 0.25 Klonopin as needed and it helps calm me down from the constant pain. I will keep you guys updated about surgery. Best wishes

So I wanted to give you guys an update. I finally got the head pressure/headache/dizzyness to go away. A Neurologist told me to take Magnesium citrate 400mg with D2 400mg daily. Within 48 hours all my sinus issues have resolved. I still feel alittle fuzzy headed but he said that would resolve in a month. I couldn't believe it. Check out Magnesium defiency. Hope this helps.

I will look into this thank you! Im glad you getting better. Im on week 10 a of illness and I do feel better hopefully its going :-)
