I Have been on 50 mg of Sertraline now for about 5 Months now and at first I had to use the loo about 4 time a day with the runs then settled down 🤔 But for the last couple of weeks have had needed the loo again about 4 times a day where suddenly need the loo and have a very noisy stomach as well 😡😡has anyone one here suffered on here like this ??? Any advice would be very much appreciated 😦😦
Hi Anne, yep. I had horrible diarrhea for first month. I started 100mg on Nov 19 and even now I still have loose stool, but it's getting better. In the past when I was on this med I had horrible constipation, and so, now it's opposite.
I also have very loud stomach noises - 90% of serotonin receptors are in your guts so maybe that's why? This med will also alter your appetite but it's hard to tell if it's the side effects or your illness that is either making you eat more or less.
Have you ruled out stomach flu?

I'm not sure what you mean if it's a new lot of tablets from the pharmacy then no had this coarse for about a couple of months now .🤔??
