So ignore my other dicussion. I have had my test results back and its HSV1 that i have contracted.
So my question now is this a weaker strain or basically its the end of my wee world.

You have hsv 1 on your Genitals? It’s not the end of the world ! I’m gonna be real with you Herpes is herpes on the Genitals whether it’s type 1 or 2. If your having an outbreak get on some antivirals right away and look for some soothing home remedies. I got diagnosed with hsv 2 on my genitals two weeks ago , my outbreak ended a couple of days ago, the first outbreak is always the worst they say but after that their pretty mild . I was sick with myself and depressed until I learned herpes can live dormant in the bottom for years before popping up and so many people have it. It’s not life threatening you’ll be okay!
Like mimi had said, herpes is herpes. Is it HSV1 on your genitals? I know a lot of people with HSV1 on the genitals who only have one outbreak and that’s it, or maybe one every few years. It’s not the end of the world, HSV1 or HSV2 it’s just a skin condition that flares up time to time. It’s normal to have these feelings and feel disgusted in yourself, but every time you do, remind yourself that one in four (or five, don’t quote me) women ages 14-49 have some type of HSV, I think 2 but once again don’t quote me. This disease is extremely common, and we know that by the people who have actually went and been diagnosed. Many people are asymptomatic so they can go their whole lives with having mild symptoms that go unnoticed or no symptoms at all. But just think, it’s this common and that’s only because of people who have been diagnosed! Imagine if more people had symptoms and got tested and diagnosed with it. There are so many people who have no clue they have it. I know that saying it could be worse doesn’t really help, but it could be. It could’ve been hiv or anything else. Mostly all STDS lead to complications if they are not treated soon enough, and guess what? This one RARELY leads to any. It will not kill you. Keep pushing on! Do your research because knowledge is power. Learn about l-lysine, l-lysine creams, eat healthy, don’t stress yourself out, get rest. Everything will be okay. I’ve also heard about oregano oil being able to suppress the virus very well. I don’t have hsv1, but HSV2 but either way we’re all in the same boat. Wishing you the best.
