Hello, my story is long and probably not anything you havent heard... so ill cut to the chase. a year ago i began having very server panic attacks out of no where. never had anxiety or anything like that before until the forst one hit me. since then i have become the worst health anxiety person and chronic panic attack suffer. ontop of that i now live in chronic pain. i was on lexapro for 5 months and saw a bit of a change but i had horrible tremors so doc took me off. since then he put me on nortriptlyne and amitriptlyn both gave me bad reflux and rashs so i stopped.. now hes putting me on cybalta, for the pain and the anxiety. problem is ive read some horrible things about it.. even people having seizures.... i also have fatty liver and chronic gerd could this make these worse? im scared to take it... please someone help me...0
Did the doctor do the proper tests for fatty liver? The only way to know for sure I think is a biopsy. I was diagnosed with a fatty liver although I was not overweight by much. (they did nothing more than an enzyme test) I had a very physically demanding job so I got plenty of exercise. Anyways years later suffering from GERD and high liver enzymes the pain got bad enough something had to be done. I could no longer eat. Turns out my gallbladder was backed up causing liver damage and high enzyme readings. I no longer take GERD medication but I probably should because of my burping only when I am high anxiety. My liver enzymes are always normal now.
According to my therapist there is a link between those that have mental health issues and people that have their gallbladder removed. Not sure if this is backed up by the medical community though. I started to seek alternative treatments. So perhaps you should try eating a diet to help cleanse and promote gallbladder health if you did not already have it removed. I found out after it was too late.
About Cymbalta… I am sure you read enough stories about that. Everybody is different. It was not for me or many other people but it is for others. Its very hard to come off of for many people.
Please eat healthy, it does matter with mental health.
Doc did an ultrasound and a Ct and didnt see any gullstones but both showed fatty liver.
Hello,
I’m taking cymbalta, and I haven’t had any bad side effects from it, but it always differ from person to person because, obviously, we have different bodies and health, but in my opinion there is nothing wrong with taking it (:
