I have health anxiety and GAD I have s new symptom of a very lite vibration could be a shaky feeling yesterday in my leg today it moved to my elbo just took a xanax just to have a break from the panic it's causing seems like that took it away for now. Has anyone had this?
Trick I have used is tell yourself you will check on it in a week and look into it if it continues. it gives your mind the knowledge you will address it, but then the break to forget it in between. Most of these little body things go away. you can drive yourself crazy over-analyzing
Yes, vibration and shaky feeling is very common with GAD. With anxiety people can feel vibration and shakiness, tingling numbness because anxiety tends to show symptoms of the nervous system. The more attention you give it or anxiety, the more you will have it. Because you are telling your brain you’re worried about it and this will create more anxiety and symptoms.
My anxiety symptoms began in my 20s along with many other symptoms of anxiety. At that time there was no online or support group so I was really terrified. I didn’t know what was wrong with me but now I know that millions of other people have generalized anxiety with symptoms.
Just remember that any symptoms related to anxiety cannot hurt you even though they feel weird and scary sometimes. The symptoms are not the problem. The problem is unmanaged stress and anxiety.
Believe me, I am a veteran of all of this and have had every symptom you can think of but none of them ever hurt me I finally learned how to manage it all.
The key is to relax your mind as much as possible because when you’re anxious your brain sends out adrenaline which can cause some symptoms.
Another thing that’s important is learning what is causing your anxiety so you can deal with that. I went to counseling which really helped.
I also listen to meditations for anxiety , sleep, depression found on YouTube which are great. really good one is called “detachment from overthinking“. There are many more to choose from! I do this daily especially when lying down to sleep.
of course anyone who has new symptoms should have a check up by their doctor. This will also give you peace of mind. I think you’re going to be just fine. Do things that relax your mind even if it’s just going for a walk, listening to soothing music, and meditations,. Don’t take life too seriously .
