Need some answers for wisdom teeth

Ok so 2 weeks ago I randomly just started having irritation on my bottom right wisdom tooth. I saw my dentist she thought everything looked fine and we already scheduled an extraction cause she said one had a cavity and one was impacted. She tapped on it and no pain anywhere. She gave me a special syringe and said keep the partially impacted one clean. That night I went crazy and wasn’t feeling right so went to the ER. That doctor said everything looked good and gave me pain killers till my extraction date. I went and saw my family doctor the next day and he looked at it and said he didn’t disagree with the dentist or ER doctor that it looks ok but put me on antibiotics as a precaution. My symptoms as of today. Discomfort on the inside of my jaw kinda in the lymph node area but can’t say my lymph nodes are swollen, neck stiffness, and collar bone area stiffness, brain fog that comes and goes. No fever or pain at least what I would call pain. However the stiffness is getting me down. So this brings me to questions that no one is really answering. Is this what teething is like for a 31 year old? Why the stiffness from my right jaw to my shoulder? Is 875mg of amoxicillin 2 times a day good? I’ve read wisdom teeth can cause tmj symptoms? Can I have an infection (cause no one tested or took X-rays)? Any advice?

go see a different dentist at another location and get a second opinion just to be sure

hi nathan. im now 67 yrs old. but i had TMJ when i was about 35 and thought i was dying. I dont think they knew what it really was. One destist took out every filling in my head and replaced them in case there was a crack. And do you know, that right now I know i went a lot of times but i seriously dont remember how that ended but it finally did.  but i didnt have neck or shoulder pain.   but let me tell you about the tooth right before the wisdom tooth (about 37) I was in pain, the dentist...a different one said nothing was wrong. H e took something steel and knocked around on it and i said it didnt hurt worse so this idiot gives me 2 pain pills (im driving with children) and i go home only to wake up wanting to scream in pain, i go in the next morning, he x rayed it, tapped on it...said it was ok....gave me 2 more pain pills and im off to work at the telephone company. Next day, im back again crying. I guess he thought i wanted drugs but this was before the opiod crisis was even a thing and people didnt take that stuff where i live.  so he gives me a prescription!!! oh boy, i get a whole bottle to cry by. This went on for 11 days. My mother, bless her heart, called him behind my back and said he'd better do something for me or else. I dont know what she threatened him with. ha ha but he called me at work and told me to come in....He shot me up, drilled on the tooth and the pus came flying out. the pressure it was under was incredible.   See, the xray shoudl've shown that and when he tapped it, i shouldve come out of my seat in pain but i didnt. well, immediate relief. But did you tell your dr about your neck and jaw?  the reason i ask is b/c stiffness can be a sign of meningitis and thats very very serious. can you touch your chin to your chest...not all the way but.....that amox if very strong and im sure the right dosage. it would take however about a day and a half or 2 days for you to notice if anything is going away.  if not, id get my ass back to the ER...oh, thats why i told you about the tooth,,,yes, you could have an infection and the er dr did what i think was right.  but im not a dr and just an old lady who has been thru these things. so good luck, honey. take care.
