Need to vent , any advice is appreciated

This isnt my first time writing here and since my first 3-4 were helpful I thought I could try it again since I no longer have friends or anyone to talk to...

I have GAD for over 2 years now... My daily symptom is dizziness and lightheadedness... Basically, every moment that passes feels like im gonna faint.

I have done 3 MRIs, many blood works, many visits to doctors (ears/eyes/heart/neuro all perfect) and not only the thing isnt going away, but its getting worse.

I started on Cipralex for a year and now Im on Zoloft (50mg/day). At first it helped but it all came back after 2 months or so.

Three days ago I had a bad migraine (I always had migraines since a little child, nothing worrying)... The next day I woke up and I felt like my head was gonna explode... Unbelievable pressure from the top of the scalp (cranium) all the way to my nose and ears, like some is pulling them! Of course that made me go insane, but I didnt take my xanax (which I only keep for extreme situations).... When I go to bed the pressure is getting better but as soon as I get up or sit in a chair, it comes back.

So to sum up... Extreme pressure from the top of my head to my ears and nose... My first though was sinusitis but after today's exam everythings fine...

Can anyone help me? Should I add "extreme pressure to the top of the head" to my long list of anxiety symptoms?

Thanks for your time...

You are fine and you are healthy ! The headache could be from you stressing and worrying about it. Try to relax its not easy but you can do it. As long as all your tests are clear and normal what is there to worry about? Im praying and hopping for my results to be normal too today for my appoinment. Be the warrior not the worrier

I really can not imagine that type of pain all the time. I feel bad for you. I am not sure the page n on the top of your head stems from anxiety but it surly isn't help it. Any possibility your having a reaction to the Zoloft ? My wife was taking Zoloft and experienced terrible head aches and mood swings. So bad she had to get off of it and go in lexepro. Well, like to hear back on how you are making out, so keep writing if you are able.

Anxiety can definitely cause extreme head pressure. I have that quite often.

there anyway you can speak with the counselor about this? Anxiety is often difficult to manage alone and it really helps to vent to someone else. They see this every day and know how to help.

listen to some meditations on YouTube for anxiety. They really calm down all of my symptoms and I get to sleep way easier.  Many of them teach you how to separate anxiety and negative thinking from yourself.

 hope you feel better!
