Just back from specialist after a three month wait to be told my TSH levels are normal..As below:
Free Thyroxine 16.0 12.7 16.7 11.0 15.1
TSH 0.60 1.69 1.17 2.17 0.30
This is from dec 2014 to feb 2016..
He has sent me away with my levothyroxine 75mg increased to 100mg..
I told him since I was with him 3 months ago my symptoms have got worse. He has now taken a T3 test which means another 3 months of waiting housebound. That's how sore and tired I get when active.
Can someone tell me what my readings mean and is it normal to get one test after another rather than all toghether ?
3 months is torture! My dr tests me every 6-8wks. This is the minimum amount of time required for levo to get into the system. And no, normally you would need T4, T3 and TSH to be tested all at the same time to get a correct reading of what's happening in your body.
Hopefully nurse Shelley will be on to answer 7wjat your results mean. She's very good.
Thanks for taking the time to answer Mary.. I posted this 3 months ago..But your right 3 months waiting to see a specialist is torture.. but my 3 months is up again and no letter for appointment as yet..
Nobody else u can go to? Or perhaps phone them up to confirm ur appt?
Tried that before Mary rang about results and left a message no-one got back to me..
No way to find another dr?
