I’ve made a few posts on here about my newly discovered issue. It went from what I thought was friction tears from rough dry sex, to what I realized could be a herpes outbreak. All of my symptoms and signs point to herpes, but the blood test came back negative. I ordered lab work from PersonaLabs because I’m terrified to go to the OBGYN (yes I know I’m a big girl, but hey we all have our issues and YES I did make an actual appointment to be seen but can’t be seen till friday ) I figured blood work would be more accurate than swabs anyways, but I’ve read that isn’t true, mind you I was having a “breakout” at the time of blood work also, which gave me more of a reason to assume blood tests would be sufficient enough. What else could this be? Or did I do a blood test too early? I’ve been sleeping with the same guy for the past 5 months, not sure if that also helps. 1st pic is when I first discovered it. 2nd pic is of the blisters. 3rd pic is what I’m left with currently.

I think the only way you will know is having a direct swab on the sores.......your 3rd picture definitely looks like an outbreak
blood tests would be the most accurate four months after the risky exposure. so right now a swab under 48 hrs would be the more accurate test
herpes is hard to diagnose because you need to caught it will the virus is still active, when you have outbreaks and symptoms your test will be accurate but if you have no symptom and you do the test you can have a false negative ( that is because the virus is sleeping so your test would show negative)
I believe your pictures do depict that of a herpes outbreak. I would go and see your Doctor, there's no shame! I have lived with this disease for 15 years... it gets easy, less intense and less frequent. the smartest thing for you to do right now is see your doctor and talk openly and honestly- they see this all the time!
did u ever end up getting swabbed and how are things now
