Nerve problem ? Anxiety or illness / changing symptoms

since October 2017 I started having almost constant symtoms that keep changing . It started with back of head feeling numb and me feeling a bit spaced out .. would also have tingling in hands or arms or feet - changing all the time 

sometimes it all goes and then one or another can appear 

iv also had sudden electric shock type jabs in random muscles - 

last four weeks I had lungs hurt and constant mucus / flem 

that's now going and then my stoumch hurts and rumbles 

tmrw can be nothing or something again 

I'm also tired quite allot and quite anxious about it . 

It started after a trauma period of time and overwhelming circumstances so I think part of this is or triggered by a kind of shock or breakdown but iv seen a phyciotrist and after felt clearer . Some symptoms however remain 

iv had blood test and X-ray / lungs listened to and oxygen checked plus ecg and all are clear

Sounds more like severe anxiety and stress. I have had all your symptoms starting in my twenties. Numbness in head, tingling arms and legs, foggy, spacey feeling., electric shocks, Eye floaters, weakness.   The body can only take so much stress and it puts strain on the whole body. That’s why we get weak.

Mine was ALL DUE TO ANXIETY AND STRESS.

THE MORE I worried about it, the worse my symptoms.

You have been checked out by the doctor, you are ok.  

My symptoms lingered for a very long time but you are able to manage them better through several ways.

Dont overreact to the symptoms. 

Symptoms due to anxiety won’t hurt you 

Go to counseling for support regularly 

Listen to meditations on you tube for anxiety. They teach you how to stay in control and totally calm down my mind and body and symptoms.

Whatever you tell your brain, your body will follow.

Eat healthy and avoid caffeine, sugar, alcohol.

Put yourself first and do what you have to in order to feel better.

One day at a time.

Dont take life too seriously 

SLOW DOWN and remember to smile and laugh 

You went through trauma so be good to yourself!

Listening to your symptoms let’s me know this is anxiety I’m going thru this daily some days are good but today is horrible I have leg pain and been in bed all day sometime I feel short of breath but I’m not my body is just crashing and I can’t understand how anxiety can do this

As scary as it is. 

Sounds like severe anxiety. 

I know you want so badly to have an answer. But anxiety can do all those things to you and convince you that somethings wrong.

I can accept that possibly I have / had anxiety shock , breakdown etc and I can accept the physical symtoms can be severe . I am not however convinced that I don't have something else as well or instead of and on my reading my symtoms also apply to liymes desiese and possibly ms . It seems to be a big subject - anxiety with  no clear route

The only thing to do is to get tested. 

Talk to your doctor and tell them your concerns, and say you want to be tested for the things you feel you may have. 

That’s the only way to have a clear cut answer and have some peace of mind. 

You’re doctor will understand and will want to help

Can anxiety be brought on by certain foods? I ate subway yesterday and by the time I went to bed my heart was pounding, I was sweating and I couldn't sleep, but I had no pain. Now today I'm experiencing tingling/pins and needles in my back and arms. Have any of you guys experienced this, or can stress and poor posture do this? (I'm a gamer, so I wonder if this is causing what I'm feeling)

A bit of a problem if you can't pay for the tests, even with insurance.

I get 'symptoms' of anxiety almost daily. I do convince myself often that they are something else, something more sinister. Infact I am guilty of researching symptoms so much I think it induces  a lot of my panic attacks. I saw my GP today and discussed at length the physical symptoms of stress, anxiety and panics. I was told that very often anxiety can mimic nerve disorders such as MS. Common symptoms include tingling face/lips. pain in and around the face. Tingling, electric type pains and numbness of the legs, arms, fingers and toes. Stomach complaints. Nerve pain in the head, jaw and neck and a feeling of not being in your own body/light-headedness. These were all my symptoms from the past few weeks and the GP reassured me they can all be linked to severe stress and anxiety. It's the body's response to a fight or flight type feeling.

The pounding heart lasted for hours, btw. And I'm still feeling a weight in my gut.
