Neuro Kinetic Therapy

Hi hippies

I have been in touch with a personal trainer through my Osteopath who practices Neuro Kinetic Therapy.

I understand it's about identifying muscle weakness and helping strengthen.

Has anyone else been told about this or actually experienced it? Big bothered it's just another one of those therapies that costs a lot and does nothing!

Thanks

Barbara

I have never heard of it, perhaps it is valid but likely expensive.  I think walking is the best option I have heard so far.

Hi again Barbara (should we meep meeing up like this!),

Like your letter - I feel it's crazy that we have an £8000 operation, and then little or no physio or sports phsio for those like me too who need it, or indeed an Ospeopaph. My gym personal trainer has identifies Ads, Abs and Hamstrings in particular, and we hope to work on this next week after I get my final sign off from hospital.

I'm fortunate that I can afford an osteopath as she has been great. But I, like most, don't like wasting money. I am going to join a gym which I have been to before and start some independent short regular sessions, once I can drive again. Also swimming.

May meet with this trainer and see what my instincts tell me.

Glad all going well for you Mic. Are you in the UK? Sorry if already asked!
