After about 5 months of stressing about brain aneurysms, DVT, and other crazy things, I think I have finally found my answer but I am still wanting second opinion. Today I went to my neurologists and I asked for a mri and he said that it would be a waste of money because I have had two CT scans in the past 7 months and both came up clear. I have constant headaches and neck pain 24/7. My panic attacks hit me like a train out of no where. Anyways I went to the chiropractor after the neuro and he adjusted me, that seemed to make me feel a little funny, and then they did the ultrasound therapy on my upper back and neck, that made me very dizzy for some reason. I just want to feel better, anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I am currently suffering from a headache behind my left eye and the top of my head burns. 21 year old male, 6ft, 185 lbs
Your dr is right! No need to conduct an MRI unless CT came back abnormal. Panic attacks do not happen out of nowhere. They happen due from high anxiety and worrying about them. This goes for your symptoms. I was dizzy 24/7 and had head pressure and headaches all day long. After getting several tests done, which came back fine, I decided to ignore my physical symptoms. They went away.
The best thing to do is accept your sensations as they are, just bodily sensations of anxiety. Carry on with your life. Be completely mindful of them. I suggest meditation, exercise and eating healthy. Maybe see a CBT therapist.
Yes it does sound like panic attacks. They can make you feel seriously ill although you are perfectly physically healthy. Relaxation techniques are good but discuss all different options treatment with your Dr.
