Neurosurgeon appointment.

Hi all I have facet joint arthritis and 3 prolapsed discs which cause sciatica. I have just received a letter off the neurosurgeon to make an appointment.

I am a bit worried about this and am wondering if it will help with the burning pain I have in my back and pain down my left leg when I walk.

Does anyone else have all what I have and how did the injection or operation help. If it did at all??

I hand the nerve toot block injection in February this year and I had 3 months pain free , but now I'm back with the same pain and worse before that I have tried every medication and Pysio and acupuncture ,heat pads pain machines and none were effective. So now I'm having another MRIand possibility of surgery on my L5
