I've been on pred for a year. lowering dosage going okay. Now suddenly i have extreme tenderness at the very tip end of elbow. No trauma or obvious injury. can this be a pmr thing?
I can’t help you I’m afraid but just wanted you to know this happened to me about 6 months ago, out of the blue, but I put it down to OA.
Not much helps although I do take Cocodamol as well as pred.
I find my elbow gets sore if I lean on it a lot - but really not sure it is a “PMR thing”. There is little muscle there, but there could be tendon/ligament attachments that get sore.
And it just occurred to me that it feels as if it is the skin that is so sore - and it is worst when it is very dry and rough. Lots of Neutrogena hand stuff on the area helps me.
