New fluid-filled interstitium organ

I read about this "new" connective tissue organ yesterday & wonder what it looks like in us.

I thought the same thing!!! Seems like it may be a big deal for us with major au disorders. How does one find a new organ in over  300 years? My math is certainly wrong....wow’ it’s a big deal! I hope it helps us out.

Since I have been diagnosed with a form of connective tissue disease, among Ss and other things, I think this is HUGE for many of us...

I hope so. The explanation as to why now does make sense -- advances in imaging -- combined with it drains/hardens & looks torn as soon as the tissue/organs it surrounds dies.

If users want to read the story it was reported by National Geographic here

It’s really interesting. I was just reading a little about it. I wonder if it could lead to some type of break through. It seems the focus of it is in cancer research.

Yes, their focus is cancer, but it's also the lymphatic and immune systems so I'm hoping Johns Hopkins & the Sjogren's Foundation will dive right into this. All the big money in the States goes for cancer research but maybe someone will get creative.

I also immediately thought of acupuncture when I first read this, as in, is this going to be the way Western medicine finally comes to understand acupuncture's effectiveness via organs the west has been too obtuse to see?

I thought of that too. I do acupuncture and it helps. Wish I had time to do it a few times per week.

Found this link online. Amazing they may be able to help find how cancer spreads once they understand it. 😊

Opps 2 x by mistake😐

I hope so, or even just better understanding of what happens inside us, so long as they don't get stuck on cancer.
