Hi everyone. Just Had my prostate removed using the da Vinci Surgical System 7 days ago. I was looking for a forum to join to help me through this recovery process. I have several questions but the first is, I am still having severe gas pains right before I pass gas or have a bowel movement. uggg... please tell me that will go away soon.
Yeah it goes away soon. The catheter will end up being your most focused part of the ordeal. As soon as it is pulled life becomes bearable and the real healing begins.

I didn't have any of that,,,, catheter was a Problem...I had it for 21 days, I am 9months in regained most of my continence, that was really a bother for a while,,,,no erections since the surgery, but I am alive and cancer free......good luck and god bless.....
