if you look at my previous post pls help i have a new partner and he likes oral & raw sex idk if i have the virus oral or on genitals i dont take meds bc i never had an definite outbreak they doctor even told me the bumps i get after shaving is folliculitis & i had a blister on the top of my my gum wasnt nothing gave me 2 pills & sent me home i do recall one of the nurses saying it look like little cuts then a few weeks later the doctor took my discharge said i had an infection and it could be herpes or bv . QUESTION : did anybody have symptoms on genital with oral hsv ? those are the only possible outbreaks i had and im confused because i feel the tingly feeling & sharp feeling in my lips but i dont get sores & the bumps i get after shaving never open or ulcer nd they only itch sometimes !! PLEASE HELP

this how my gum looked when i first went to the doctor & this was two months after kissing & 4 months after giving oral but between those time i had protected sex with condoms & received no oral sex

i tested pos 8.0 for hsv1

hsv1 normally occurs on the lips i have hsv1 and thats were i get my sores never had them inside my mouth

u may not have had an outbreak 8.0 is still quite low

is 8.0 an established infection ?

yea but after my cousin used some of my lips gloss i believe she got a cold sore on her lip

here its anything over 3.1 is positive anything between 1.0 and 3.1 is considered neither positive or negative so a retest would be done and under 1.0 is negative the numbers vary depending on were u are i spoke to someone whos results were a positive for anything over 5.0 so iv seen a few different variantions with regards to numbers

an igg test looks for antibodies and theres some there from past exposure to the virus igm is for recent outbreak or active outbreak

this isnt herpes. everyone’s inner mouth/ roof of mouth looks like this.

i understand that but in the 1st pic it was very swollen , i could barely eat & the nurse said it look like little cuts this not a good pic but u can see how swollen it is

thats not herpes whatsoever. nor are those symptoms on herpes. the virus does not effect the roof of your mouth. the virus, herpes affects skin i.e: your lips and rarely the insides of your cheeks. unless it’s genital and then ofc it affects your genital area skin and occasionally people have sores in their vaginal canal. whatever you have going on in your mouth isnt herpes
