Hi, I have been taking sertraline for 5 months with steady improvement despite having a few ups and downs, I was taking one that was in a yellow and white box, I recently got a repeat prescription and the sertraline is now in a brown and white box with the company name “cipla” on. I didn’t think anything of it but have not been feeling great for the past week since taking it, I have had full headaches nausea upon swallowing the tablet and very tired...I had some sort of 24 hr bug which probably had nothing to do with the medication but my anxiety and social anxiety has def increased and I’m worrying about little things that I wasn’t before...😕just wondering if anyone else had had the same experience? Also if I get another prescription and the medication changes again won’t these problems start all over again?
This happened to me when I got a prescription in France when I normally get my prescription in the UK. Different manufacturers can make slightly different pills which you would not think would make a difference.
I guess you need to stay on the same one to avoid this issue in future.
Hi lynn,
How long did it take you to adjust to the new medication? I don’t think I have a choice in what brand as it’s wharever is available at the pharmacy...
