now low vitamim D on tablets in remission protein lowest it been for some time now 6 months still carrying some weight looking at ways to try to loose it. The only thing I can not get rid of is the pain in my hands really hurts and both thumbs hard to use, anyone know why is possible fluid in the tisue!!!!!

I had exactly the same symptoms. The specialist put it down to large doses of Prednisolone. (80mg?) Couldn't use my cutlery at all, embarrassing to clear the plate with my fingers ! I'm on 10mg now and this will be reduced over the next few weeks . The pain and cramp ended when the dose was reduced. But this was probably better than the illness and dialysis!
I became ill in July, still have small amounts of protein in sample. Last time nothing.

Thanks the only problem is I came of prednisolone at least 5 months ago and the pain started to get worse after I came off
