New to anxiety

Hello,

I recently found out I was pregnant and I have been to the ER recently so many times because I feel like something is wrong with me not the baby! I'm not stressed about the pregnancy at all. I was at the mall yesterday and stared feeling pressure-sunken in chest/weak legs/ feeling like I'm going to faint/weird stomach feeling and racing thoughts!! I was freaking out I had to leave every time I go to the ER they say everything is fine! I've had a cat scan blood work heart x rays! I'm scared and I don't know what to do I feel like I'm going to die! Help please

This is all classic symptoms of anxiety and panick attacks, it's horrible I know I've been living with it really bad daily for 7 months now, I literally have to keep buzy or it gets really bad for me, you just got to find either what your stressing or anxious about and work on it, or find something that helps ease while your going through it. I know it's scary and must be even more so now your pregnant. I go for walks and listen to music, nice baths or watch a film all little things but sometimes it's enough to keep me calm. I really hope you feel better, talk to your GP and see if there's not anything they can help you with maby some anxiety classes that help you manage it.

Hi Cheyanne

Weak legs? Have you eaten? It could be low blood sugar, dehydration, or low blood pressure. Stay hydrated drink water, eat your meals and snacks. Remember you're eating for two.😍😘🚼 & Take a break if you feel tired.πŸ‘πŸ’œCongratsπŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ˜˜πŸŽˆπŸ’žπŸ’™πŸ’œπŸ’™πŸ’œπŸ’™Take Care

 You were not going to die. I have had all the same symptoms and so have millions of other people all due to anxiety and stress! You will be fine. What you need to do is calm everything down for you in the baby. All anxiety starts in the brain so you need to relax the brain in order to relax the body

 I have had the chest pressure, weakness in legs and arms, weird stomach, racing thoughts ,feel like I could faint,  and even more.

 let me explain what happens:

 sometimes we have underlying anxiety and or fear that were not even aware of. When this happens our brain becomes anxious. When that happens the brain musters up all kinds of energy  this energy comes out as the symptoms  such as weakness, shortness of breath, racing thoughts,. This is similar to panic.

 just remember one thing… Any symptoms that is related to anxiety can never hurt you! The shortness of breath cannot affect anything it just feels uncomfortable. Same thing with all the other symptoms.

 you need to manage this anxiety  and negative thinking. It can be done!

 what has really helped me are audio meditations on YouTube for anxiety, proper breathing technique, depression, sleeping etc. many to choose from. I do this a couple times a day and they completely relax my mind body and symptoms.

 A good one to start with is called mindfulness meditation for relaxation.

 for proper breathing technique you can search for mindful meditation for breathing.

 if you feel panicky, search for panic attack emergency or just panic attack.

 there was a book called mindfulness that is excellent in teaching you how to manage all of this. This is a popular technique all around the world. The book is white with a ball of string on the cover. Many people on this site are reading it or have read it. All the audio meditations use this method  how to eliminate negative thinking.

 it is important to know that when you get a negative thought don't try to fight it off. Instead, calmly acknowledge the thought for a few seconds. Just watch it. Then, Imaginate drifting off and dissolving.  Our negative thoughts are not a part of us, they are just fleeting thoughts. They can be eliminated by that method and therefore controlled. You don't have to let negativity and fear control your life.

 you can do this just be a fighter for yourself and your baby.

Hello, read your helpful response to chayanne. I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, too. I will check this infomation out. Currently on medication and psychological treatment, but still fighting the symptoms daily. Thanks for the info again!
