New to HRT Evorel patches

Hi all

I've just started the Evorel patches yesterday. I'm afraid I can't take these mixture of awful symptoms anymore. When you look back on all the weird things everyday you think to yourself OMG. I want some quality time with my children before they up the nest. Anyone with good reviews feel free to contact me and roughly how many days did things change ?

Hi Michelle, have been on evorel Conti patches for 13 years, flushes stopped within days, mood lifted, more energy, generally just felt a lot more like my old self! I cut the patch in half for over 6 years, but recently went back to the full patch again. Can feel the good effects again :-) i'm spotting now and then, but I'll put up with that any day! ,

Hot flashes, especially at n ight, tiredness, no energy, mood swings, foggy headed,  various random aches and pains... just miserable really. There are a whole range of symptoms when you hit the menopause.. Evorel did the trick for me. What symptoms are you having?

HI I started on evorel patches in Oct 15 dose was initially 50. I was feeling erratic, night sweats and doubting my marriage, everything felt like such an effort. I went to the GP to ask for a hormone check which he reluctantly did as I am only 43. It came back with a low oestrogen level so i did my homework, mainly through an excellant professors website - Google John Studd menopuse which I cannot recommend highly enough. He is definately the professional menouapuse expert guru. The Austrailian menoupase society is also a good resource. Anyway after persuading my Gp to start me on patches I felt better within 3 days, it really made me think I must have started menopause symtpoms ages ago as I couldn't remember feeling as normal as the patches made me feel. It was a revelation. After 7 months I started feeling symptomatic again so went back and upped my patches to 75's. Again I already feel better. I also have the mirena coil in to provide my progesterone. I therefore have no bleeding at all.
