You will need to give the treatment a reasonable time to see if it suits you. What suits one person doesn't necessarily suit another. When I first started HRT I had to try a few out before finding one that suited me.
I see that the one you are on is progestogen and oestrogen sequentially. Be guided by health professional. I found going to a specialist gynaecologist who had an interest in HRT was better than from GP. A friend of similar age who got HRT from GP didn't ever have any checks to monitor if she was on the correct dosage. It is unwise to take more than one needs. I also have yearly mammogram, breast ultrasound and consult breast surgeon. She had mammogram every two years and last year got aggressive brest cancer. This year the cancer returned in the other breast . Now she is off HRT and has all the horrid symptoms. Take care to practively manage your health and use the best doctors that you can find, the best being that those who have interest and knowledge of HRT and are willing to assist menopausal women.
