So I started my first outbreak two weeks ago. I wasn’t sure what was going on so I went to the hospital and they diagnosed me with HSV2. I’m really upset and distraught to say the least. The guy that I was seeing did not know he even had it. One night of unprotected sex completely destroyed my life now. This is all very new to me and I’ve been doing as much research as I can. i’m not finding a lot of information on the potential second crop during the first outbreak. The doctor prescribed me Acyclovir for the 10 days, and I received another prescription for a monthly supply to use twice a day as suppression. The initial crop healed up already, but now I am very itchy in other spots, and my vagina is red. I started it the regular monthly supply of twice a day, so I’m not understanding if this is the second crop regardless of the prescription or not. I also have a slight itch inside of my vagina, no burning not even when urinating, and then I discovered there is a clumpy white discharge inside. I used a Q-tip to get some of it out. The symptoms started Thursday evening into Friday. I am very upset, and I am not sure what this is. Can anyone share thoughts please or your experience if this had happened during your first outbreak. Also any tips would be great. Also, I just started taking L Lysine today, as well as a multi vitamin. First round of both. I started sitz baths as of yesterday.
sounds like you have a yeast infection. HSV thrives when your immune system is down so thats probably why the virus is having a hardd time going away. during my first out break, i found out i also had bv which was probably the reason why outbreak lasted over 3 weeks. i would go get tested for a yeast infection so they can give you antibiotics
can you post pics, I have these sores but not sure if it’s anything to worry about. I find d out Tuesday about results
