After reading these posts I can see I am not alone in my suffering. I started taking this 3 days ago. The first night i had pretty severe nauseousness. Yesterday I felt pretty good. Today though I started with profuse sweating, numbness all over my body and weakness. One other thing I noticed is my blood sugar has been very low. I am a type 2 diabetic and when I woke up this morning I was at 60. Before lunch and dinner i was in the low 70's. Anyone else having this problem?
I am so ready to give up on this medicine. I feel worse now then I did before taking it.
I can't comment on the diabetes but i do know you lose your appetite for the first couple of weeks.
I was in the same situation as yourself, in the first few days you will feel worse but after that it does get much better, i was ready to pack them in too but after speaking with my gp i decided to persevere and after a week of being on sertraline i feel much better then what i did in the first few days.
Hi! Hope you're feeling a little better this morning!
Again, I can't comment on the diabetes but I've been taking them for about 2 and a half weeks now, I lost my appetite massively and yesterday I managed to finish my 3 turkey dinosaurs, half a can of spaghetti hoops and a handful of chips! Yay!
Stick with it, and if you don't feel better within a week or so then go back to your GP and see what they say
I'd also recommend just giving them a ring anyway to discuss your worry with your diabetes
hope you feeling better today ? i was terrible the first week on these pills i started on 50mg but couldn't hack it so i broke mine in half and took them every 12 hours worked fine for me .i now take 50mg twice a day
6am - 6pm and i feel normal again. and that was in a 3 week period
