Help, i recently had unprotected sex with a new partner and have begun to develop this strange white growth on my penis. i cant find photos of anything similar on the internet. i have no symptoms of irritability, or itchiness but its begun to spread. any idea what this might be? i thought maybe hpv but like i said i cant find any similar photos to reference
You may not be able to find images of this as it is quite an unusual reaction if this is linked to the sexual activity - it may be a rather unusual fungal growth.
I strongly suspect this is actually a skin condition and the sexual activity is more likely to be pure coincidence in such a case.
What I would do is experiment a little with something like baby oil, skin cream or liquid coconut oil and apply a fine coating to it - what you are looking for is the skin to react, if it reacts adversely, simply it gets worse, this would suggest it is a skin condition - if no or little reaction it would suggest it is fungal.
If you get any form of reaction you are most likely going to need to see a Dermatologist, when possible - in the mean time I would see your Family Doctor / GP if you are unable to self-refer directly to a Dermatologist …
