First of all i have spent the last few days reading all of your experiences and you are all doing so well :D .
I am just a little confused, i know you should try to have 30g of fat but is there a minimum amout that you need to have for the 'bluey's' to work :? ??
I began taking these tabs last tuesday (11/08/09), I am also following the WW diet religiously and will have my first weigh in since beginning these tabs on thurs. Ive been a little naughty and been weighing myself at home and it doesnt appear that i have lost anything and i am starting to lose a little heart as i lost 18.5lb in 6 weeks just following WW.
I also havent had any symptoms really apart from a little wind :oops: .
My typical day consists of 26 WW points
I ave 50g of Just RIght cereal with 125mls of semi skimmed milk, followed by a shape yogurt for breakfast. A typical lunch for me is a sandwich or a eat smart noodle meal followed by fruit and sometimes a shape yogurt. And finally dinner is usually a home cooked meal from a WW reciepe book. I also dring at least 1.5ltr of water a day and take my bluey's at the beginning of every meal.
Would really appreciate any advice :D
The whole 30g daily is based around the fact that the body needs 20g fat a day to run efficiently, baring in mind that the blues block 1/3 of the fat you consume 30g - 1/3 = 20g. With this said i questioned it with my doc as i tend to have less than 20g a day and she said that if i am loosing weight and feeling healthy then its fine.
It's good to not have side effects, having side effects is not a sign that the blues are working, its a sign that you have overstepped the fat intake.
So you have now been on the blues a week? There are people on here who haven't lost in the first few weeks and then begin to see loss in inches and lbs so don't loose heart, stick at it and i'm sure the hard work will pay off

i am now on week 9 of the blueys, i have lost 1 1/2 stone so far, i loose about 1-2lbs a week at the moment which seems quite good. I find that side effects are minimal, i have a bit of oil when i go to the loo a few days after i eat chinese (a treat i have every 2 weeks). I dont follow any diet while on the blueys, i keep my fat intake at about 18g daily, do 3-6 intense workouts a week and go walking/hiking most weeks at the moment.
i'm sure you'll start making some headway on the weight you want to loose soon, as you said in your first post you lost 18.5lbs initially with ww which probably means you have already lost the first 'easy' bit that most of us loose in the first week or 2 on the blues - keep at it!
