I've been waking up off and on the past week with night sweats. I take Lexapro and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with them.
Hi Kim, I have had the night sweats since Sept. 1. I have severe anxiety and agoraphobia. I believe the night sweats are anxiety. I also get a feeling like I am very hit other times in the day but no like when I am sleeping. I wake up feeling anxiety and sweating.

Are your night sweats causing you to feel drenched or is it just a little sweat? And do you normally have a lot of anxiety?
are you having any other symptoms such as fever or swollen lymph nodes etc.?
I sleep with a huge comforter and I keep my heat on 80 which may have something to do with it. Also my son has been sleeping with me which makes it hotter. Plus I had on a long sleeve shirt and jeans I was dripping in sweat but I was definitely moist. It's happened a couple of times since all of this started. I don't think my lymph nodes are swollen and I haven't had a fever to my knowledge.
Lexapro side effects can be increased sweating at night for sure. It’s in the leaftlet I believe. I used to drench the bed and have to sleep on towels. Totally normal.
I read that anxiety meds can cause it I was just checking. I worry about everything and I wanted to check. I don't want to Google it because it will tell me something horrible I'm sure.
