Nighttimes terrible -- daytimes not so bad. Might it be sleeping on a (pot)belly?

I am wondering if my weight (5'11, 235#) may have something to do with both 4x up at night AND a very straining experience. i.e. Multiple low-volume "squirts" over as long as 15 minutes duration for lack of void control.  But it's not an issue in the daytime, as void musculature works fine. I tend to sleep on my stomach...the equivalent, perhaps, of a pregnant woman sleeping such that there is constant pressure on the bladder from the bump?  (I have lost 30 pounds in two years and am hoping another 30 may do the trick. Any experiences to share?)

I'm 6' and 280lbs. And I sleep on my belly and pee 8 to 10 times in 12hrs. And that's after having Resume surgery. It's a waste of time

You wrote:  "It's a waste of time".  Meaning the theory of weight as a problem -- or the surgery you've had?

(Since I posted the original message, I have read up here on prostatitis.  Have been on Bactrim the last week and it has made quite a difference.  Just a two week regimen, but I will talk to the doc -- based on readings on this wonderful page -- about stepping it up.

I’m 5-9 176 lbs and my issues are worse at night also. I’m wondering if the bladder relaxes more at night?
