Nissan fundo cure a coated scalloped tongue?

Has anyone on here had the nissen fundo operation for silent reflux and a heavily coated tongue in the hopes that it would cure their tongue? Does anyone have experience of it curing this tongue issue and constant throat clearing issues ?
