Nissen Fundoplication Reversal

I had the Nissen Fundoplication surgery done on November 10, 2020. I have lost 27 lbs since then. I can’t any meat unless I put it in my food processor and grind it up. No bread or crackers or any thing like that. I can eat chips and dip IF I let my chips soak in my dip and get soft. Just doesn’t taste the same. So I’m mainly eating a soft diet. Monday, February 8, 2021 I will be having the reversal done and whatever else my surgeon finds that needs to be done. I’ve had my esophagus stretched twice in 2 months. It works for a couple days and that’s it. I’m just ready to eat a decent meal with my family. I’ll be on a liquid diet for 2-3 weeks after this surgery. I’ll lose more weight. Not complaining about the weight loss just don’t like the way I’m doing it. Has anyone had the reversal done? What do they actually do with the stomach that’s wrapped around the esophagus?

Thanks for any replies in advance!!
