anyone on or had 100mg of Nitrofurantoin?? I have just been given them today and a bit worried about side effects.
It is a commonly used antibiotic for UTI and when I took it I didn't have any problems.
I had them felt sick for about 30 mins after first one then ate and was fine within 24 hours felt better. Word of warning they send your wee neon green so don't freak out lol. I read the horror story's and was freaked to. But honestly it was the easiest antibiotic I've ever taken for side effects x
Had them a few weeks ago. No side effects or discolouration of urine. However they didn't work for me either

Cefalexin worked for me. Try not to read too much about side effects, I always think that once we read about them, we think they are happening to us
Just take them with food, and no problem
