I don't know if this the correct word, but when ever I lay down, my muscles? are get torn appart. Back and arms. It wakes me up after few hours and I start wakling, afer about 30 minutes, the pain disapears. Does anyone has an idea what this is and what I should do?
Hello Juergen, have you actually had a diagnosis? From what you say it could be Polymyalgia Rheumatica.
Go and see your GP.
Should go to your doctor and explain the pain, it sounds like polymylgia to me and a small dose of steroids will sort it out.

I was diagnosed with poly Malaysia rheumatica back in June. My appointment with my rheumatologist to September 2nd it takes that long to get in and see a rheumatologist in my town. I can tell you it isn't very painful disease. I suffer from a back pain which was my original chronic pain but since this came along I've had days where i hurt terribly bad and the pain meds I take for my back don't do anything this pain.
I am sorry to hear this. I only know for myself, chronic pain is a very bad thing. Wish you that you find some relief.
I found analgesics did not help the PMR pain at all (even strong ones like hydracodone). Prednisone is the only med that helped. Good luck to you!
