Hi,
I feel so sorry for you. The support you,ve had from your surgeon is crap. You just have to make a nuisance of yourself until you get the answers you need.
all of us are thinking of you and wishing you well, you are not alone!

dean, this may not be permanent, but you need to act soon.... You can call the insurance company from home....
keeping you in prayers, I truly hope you see progress
I had general anesthesia. No nerve block, so that is why it is so concerning.
Thank you so much, Sue. <3
Well they well have trapped a nerve during the op then, definitely speak to your surgeon about it.
I am saddened to hear this. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers and hoping this is only temporary. GInny USA.
I know exactly where you are - just been through the same - twice - following a hip fracture at the age of 20 and a botched up double pin - followed by a total replacement at the age of 35. Several interventions since - stem wedged in therefore they have been working around the wedged first hip. My third and fourth bone graft to hold the hip - put me in a position of bone graft impacting on the sciatica. It did get ease off very gradually - I used a tense machine and gentle moving the foot on the affected leg. On the whole they told me - there was not much they could do - because it was one of the risks of surgical intervention. I am sorry it does not help you but my advise is get it checked and ask them for advise. Good luck and hope to hear from you again.
